Local volunteers have helped clean up parts of Gornal for the second day running. As part of an initiative by West Midland's Mayor, Andy Street, local residents turned up at Pale Street and cleaned up the surrounding area.
Amongst those involved was local Councillor Chris Neale who said of the event:
It was a fantastic day and we have achieved so much! The area really looks a lot better now and hopefully it will stay that way over the coming months.
I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who turned up. Couldn't have done it without you!
On Saturday another team cleaned up the park located on Humphrey Street.
